Cctv Controller

Job description:

- Monitoring people in different locations to identify instances of suspicious or unusual behaviour.
- Tracking suspect individuals as they move within a building or through a network of streets.
- Liaising with security staff or police on the ground to provide detailed intelligence about suspects such as their appearance, actions or location.
- Ensuring the CCTC system is fully functioning, and that video footage is recorded and stored appropriately.
- Assisting police in the enquiries by providing access to CCTV recording or copies of footage whenever required.

Qualification and Experience:

- Grafe 11 passed
- Minimum Grade B Psira registered.
- Previous control room experience.
- Operational posting experience.
- Must live in Strand/Stellenbosch areas.
- Drivers license with own reliable transport.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent observation
- An eye for detail
- The ability to think quickly and logically to respond to an emergency
- Exceptional communication to work in partnership with other agencies
- Perserverance and patience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365- Outlook, Word, Excel ( Essential)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strand, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
