**Role Purpose**
As the interface between key clients, solution design, and health risk management execution capabilities, the incumbent of this role will lead client-centric solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding health risk management and wellness solutions. Through a deep understanding of client needs, member health risk profiles, and key initiatives, they will provide consulting-level support to enhance claims outcomes and reduce product and claims risk. Additionally, they will advocate on behalf of clients and stakeholders to ensure services align with business priorities and meet service level objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree in health-related field (e.g., MBCHB/B Pharm/BCur) with registration with HPCSA or SANC.
- Postgraduate diplomas in health management (advantageous).
- Postgraduate management qualification (advantageous).
- 5 years of experience in a managed care environment in a senior operational, managerial, or strategic capacity, with extensive knowledge of medical aid, healthcare management, and managed care.
- Proven track record in key competencies.
- At least two years of experience in a client-facing role.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Enable Client Centricity (Client)_
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client workplace programs, health issues, and competitor activities related to health and wellness solutions.
- Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders, particularly in clinical matters.
- Contribute to negotiating service level agreements and monitor their appropriateness.
- Ensure client service delivery meets predefined standards and manages client expectations.
- Present regular reports on service delivery and forthcoming solutions in a concise manner.
- Manage client query processes to improve service and fairness.
- Effectively Action Responsibilities (Internal Process)_
- Collaborate with Solution Design and Health Risk Management teams to provide clinical and research insights.
- Support segment teams and provide health insight and support.
- Assist execution and reporting teams in identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Support communication of the value of managed care services and healthcare solutions.
- Effectively Lead Team (People)_
