**Requirements
- Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs
- Uses open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project
- Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem
- Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
- Analyzes data for patterns, trends, and anomalies using business rules and manual analysis
- Cobol IMS Developer responsible for drawing up tech specs, coding as per the tech specs, drawing up unit test plans and conducting unit testing
- Providing support during system and user testing up until post deployment

**Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a related field required
- Working knowledge of the following COBOL languages: Basic and Advanced Assembly language (COBOL IMS)
- Must have 5 years of experience in a COBOL environment
- 5 Year working within a banking environment
- 8 to 10 years working experience
- Core Banking development area working within the SAFE methodology
