The JNR Key Account Manager will maintain, grow and expand relationships with specific key customers. As well as maintain and establish productive and professional relationships with internal and external customers. Implement a joint and strategic to meet performance objectives and financial targets. Prepare various reports, quarterly sales results, annual forecasts and account status reports. Analyse sales data and implement Category Management principles. Support regional agent in the Western Cape region to maintain and grow customer base.
Duties are but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain key customer plans that support budgetary requirements through participation in the annual integrated planning process.
- Identify sales opportunities, assess, validate and clarify customer needs on an ongoing basis in the region
- Develop timeously and accurate forecasts in accordance with the allocated budgets (volume and spend) for assigned accounts, revise throughout the year
- Create a solution based Key Customer Plan for each allocated account.
- Prepare and deliver effective feedback reports (measure and monitor)
- Implement approved activities, promotional plans, merchandising, new product listings and customer penetration plans with the regional agent to ensure smooth execution.
- Facilitate product training
- Develop and implement key growth commercial strategies, tactics and action plans.
- Manage, monitor and measure KGI’s of regional sales agent
- Spend 80% of time in field with customers
.This person should be both very analytical with good excel skills have a good understanding of category management and a strong personality for this position.
