**Job summary**:

- Act in the capacity of Verification Manager as defined by R47 i.e. Manage the verification process, make final verification decisions as required, and train analysts

**Responsibilities**:
**Verification Processes**
- Implement documented systems and procedures to deliver the BEE Verification Services
- Form and manage project specific verification teams that conduct BEE Verifications
- Decisions on BEE Verifications
- Review verification files
- Analyze information verified during evaluations to determine a final verification score
- Perform an independent review of the verification and endorse the result of the verification
- Guide, supervise and review work performed by analysts
- Analyze complex ownership structures
- Ensure all relevant records stored in correct electronic folders and hardcopy files where appropriate

**Administration**
- Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed, with specific emphasis on:

- WIP control and reporting
- Timesheet control and reporting

**Technical**
- Assist with incorporation of new sector codes and technical releases into the management system, including compilation of scorecard, certificate, assessment, scorecard calculators
- Enforce/implement the management system
- Upgrading and improving the management system
- Member of technical committee
- Remain up to date on BEE developments

**Management and training**
- Managing analyst team
- Conducting quality assessment of analyst work
- Train and upskill analysts to improve the quality of their outputs

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**:

- MDP is mandatory
- Bachelors degree in either Finance, Accounting, Auditing is preferred

**Experience**:

- 7+ years in the BEE verification industry (not BEE consulting)
- 4+ years in a similar role
- 4+ years management experience
- Software - BEE Trax is preferred
