SOC Analyst

Recruiting on behalf of a Cyber Security company, providing bespoke cyber security solutions and services. The specialised solutions and services are underpinned by managed security services including their 24x7 Highly skilled Security Operations Centre (SOC).

Looking for people to train and grow as SOC Analysts, people with a passion for IT and a drive to have a successful career in the exciting world of Cyber Security.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Working in an SOC environment
- Incident response and investigation
- Report writing and delivery
- Threat intelligence gathering and analysis
- Perform investigations into security breaches
- Perform threat hunting activities within company and clients’ environments
- Contribute to the improvement of the information security within the company and its client’s
- Continuously acquire, assess, and act on new information to identify vulnerabilities, remedy, and minimize the window of opportunity for attackers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

License/Certification:

- ComTIA Security + (preferred)
