**RESPONSIBILITES**
- To maintain a positive environment and ensure operations runs smoothly.
- Liaising with agents and client from time to time
- Attends preplan meeting.
- Attend disciplinary action.
- To ensure that the operations under their control are run to both the clients’ satisfaction and to generate a positive contribution to the company.
- Compile reports
- Maintain safe and healthy environment
- To ensure full utilization of all operations staff
- To ensure equal distribution of work between foremen and labour. All foremen and labour must be multiskilled and capable of working on any of the various operations within the company. This allocation of resources will be monitored on a monthly basis and unequal distribution of work must be explained.
- To compile monthly report giving brief details of vessels performance, staff, equipment, and any points of importance.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Diploma or related qualification in operations management with freight handling background
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position or strong knowledge in working in a stevedoring environment
- Understanding and knowledge of TPT terminal
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure.
- Management skills and good communications skills
