**BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS (Brief Summary)**
- **Direct & Indirect Procurement**:
ü Procuring direct and indirect materials required to meet demand.

ü Drawing up of annual budgets.

ü Management of Master Data on ERP systems for Procurement and Warehousing

ü Maintain strong and healthy business partnerships with key vendors.

ü Draft and manage supplier agreements as and where required within the business in consultation with legal department and any other stakeholders.

ü Manage vendor qualification process to ensure GMP compliance.

ü Identify risk of strategic supply and mitigate with alternative sourcing or other initiatives.

ü Manage BBBEE compliance in line with targets set.
- **Cost Controls**

ü Manage spend in line with budgets.

ü Identify Cost Saving initiatives and project manage these opportunities.

ü Manage inventory levels in line with budgets.
- **Warehouse Management**:

- Manage inbound supply processes at receiving stores.

ü Manage supply to production and other service departments.

ü Ensure GMP and OHSE compliance within all warehouse areas.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum Educational requirement is a B.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Degree in Operations Management / Supply Chain or similar.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement (Local & International) in a leadership role
- Experience in Procurement processes including price negotiations, service agreements and inventory management of raw materials.
- Warehouse experience will be advantageous.
