**CLEANER**

Location - Epping, Cape Town

2 x Cleaner positions available.

Salary, market and experience related.

**Requirements**:
Matric and or equivalent education.

3 to 5 years’ cleaning and or sanitation experience.

Strong attention to detail.

Good communication skills.

Maintain a positive attitude and focus on the overall high standards of cleanliness required.

Able to work independently and in a team.

Reside in area. (Preferably / Own transport)

Willing to work 45 hours per week including public holidays and weekends. (If required)

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, surfaces, and facilities according to established procedures and schedules
- Work with production and quality control teams to ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime
- Follow established protocols for handling, storing, and disposing of cleaning materials and chemicals
- Communicate effectively with QC and colleagues to ensure that cleaning tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner
- Prepare uniform for cleaning, Sorting and distribution and ensure that all the dispensers are filled and maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning of offices (floors, walls, doors, windows and surfaces) and Canteen areas (sanitary towels, toilet basins, lockers, microwave, tables and stairs).
- Perform general housekeeping (wiping of fire extinguishers, window frames, pipes and plugs)
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and report any damage or maintenance issues
- Any other ad hoc duties that may be required for operational requirements.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Epping, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
