Superintendent Supervisor

A career opportunity has arisen in the **Packing Department - Premier Mill - Vereeniging. **This position is responsible for overseeing the workflow at our facilities, to manage the team, production planning and packing efficiencies.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge advantageous

**Experience Requirements**:

- 5 years’ Supervising experience in packing wheat
- Previous Packing experience in the FMCG environment will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of working on packing machines (Valve Packers, Fawema’s Carousel & Date Coders)
- Technical ability to understand, elevators, conveys, aspiration control philosophy,Scada operator system
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including PLC
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential (Word, Excel, Power point etc.)
- Housekeeping, hygiene & fumigation
- Proven record of Health & Safety (OHSACT) experience
- Proven record of Food Safety (FSSC 2200) experience

- Product planning daily
- Production and Packing control
- SOP’s, hygiene and housekeeping Food safety
- Fumigation of the plant
- Supervise staff
- Sorting out queries within department
- Ensure timekeeping and punctuality
- Staff discipline - initiating and chairing of hearings
