An exciting and challenging opportunity, based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, has just become available for a Payroll Reconciliation Clerk.

We are looking for a resilient and efficient individual with excellent accuracy, attention to detail and financial acumen who will be responsible for all third party payments related to payroll costs as well as the reconciliation of applicable general ledger accounts.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare Reconciliations to reconcile various Balance Sheet account for review by Payroll Manager
- Designated payroll accounts in all countries
- Intercompany Loans
- Resolving outstanding items / queries and journaling corrections
- Write monthly journals and upload to finance system
- Trial balance checklist - making sure a reconciliation is completed for all payroll related balance sheet accounts
- Processing SAP payments for invoices and all related admin
- Upload and process salary payments
- Perform 3rd party reconciliations
- Ensure 3rd parties are paid on time, accurately and according to terms
- Running of over payment reports
- Monthly and Bi-Monthly submissions for RSA and Neighbouring countries
- Leave reconciliations - managing queries and reports
- Ad-hoc payroll duties

**KNOWLEDGE required**:

- Strong financial reconciliation skills
- General ledger knowledge and experience

**SKILLS required**:

- Computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to question information
- Above average numerical ability
- Analytical thinking
- The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
- Finance or accounting related qualification (Diploma/Degree)

**EXPERIENCE**:
Essential:

- 2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience
- Experience working across business units

Preferred:

- 3 Years Reconciliation experience
