Tin Cup Restaurant and Driving range in Rietvlei Zoo farm (Alberton) is looking to add a kitchen manager to our team as soon as possible, or from 1 May 2024.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Create and update menu items in collaboration with the chef.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Implement and enforce food safety standards and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Manage kitchen budget and control costs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any kitchen-related issues.

**Requirements**:

- 7-10 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Proven track record of leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a lot of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and kitchen management software.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
