Requirements:

Minimum of an NQF level 8 qualification in Law.
Admission as an attorney or advocate is advantageous.
3-4 years of lecturing experience within higher education, specifically in legal studies or related fields.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in delivering distance learning using online tools and technology.
Strong research skills to inform curriculum development and improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective student engagement.
Commitment to quality and compliance with legal education standards.
Active participation in faculty and institutional committees.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Educational Excellence:
Create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students, both in-person and through distance learning methods.
Craft and enhance study materials, assessments, and curriculum to ensure they align with current legal standards and industry practices.
2. Research and Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest legal trends and best practices by conducting thorough research to inform the development of our programmes.
Infuse innovative approaches into the curriculum to ensure our students receive a cutting-edge legal education.
3. Student Support and Interaction:
Provide comprehensive support to students, fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
Conduct regular contact sessions, address queries, and offer guidance to facilitate students' academic journey.
4. Quality Assurance:
Continuously review and refine modules and programmes to maintain alignment with legal accreditation standards and industry benchmarks.
Uphold the quality and relevance of assessments, study materials, and learning outcomes.
5. Professional Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow faculty members, committees, and legal professionals to share insights and contribute to the growth of legal knowledge.
6. Personal and Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing personal and professional development in the field of law to ensure your expertise remains current and effective.
