**GNC SOFTWARE ENGINEER**
WC South Africa
PyraLink Aerospace was founded under the philosophy that Simplicity, Affordability and Flexibility are tightly coupled with a goal of creating a strong society where South Africans can make Space part of their daily conversations.
**GNC Software Engineer**
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the development of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) software for our launch vehicles. You’ll spend your days participating in all aspects of algorithm development, physical system modelling, 6DOF simulation, software development and testing. And when we say test, we mean your algorithms and software will be on orbit within weeks and months, not years. Thanks to having our own rockets and launch site in South Africa, we have frequent opportunities to test and operate our software on orbit.
This role is for someone who wants to see their ideas and software make a big impact on South Africa and the way we explore Space and use it as a platform for discovery and innovation. While your algorithms and software settle into life in Space, you’ll be based in our Production Complex working amongst the rockets and customer spacecraft as they’re built and collaborating with the vibrant, dedicated, and talented people who help to make PyraLink into the global leader it is today.
