Assistant Auto Mechanic

**VACANCY: ASSISTANT AUTO MECHANIC**

We are looking for an ASSISTANT AUTO MECHANIC to join our team and take us from strength-to-strength.

The position will entail the following:
**The following qualifications, experience and skill are required**:

- Assist the mechanic in performing moderate to complex repair work on engines, transmissions, drive units, brakes, suspension system.
- To obtain a position within an organization that is conducive to learning and growing
- Must have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers)
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc
- Excellent physical condition
- Matric / Equivalent required
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have 3 to 5 years experience of on trucks and passenger vehicles
- Must be able to do minor repairs on his own
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and method

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From R11 500,00 per month
