Traffic Controller

We are looking for a competent Traffic Controller to undertake the surveillance of our company premises and protection of our staff and visitors.

You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing theft from taking place.

**Responsibilities**
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined procedures
- Monitor and authorize the entry of vehicles or people on company premises
- Identify potential risks and respond accordingly
- Ensure all visitors have been approved to enter the premises
- Secure all exits, doors and windows at the end of the business day
- Search employees and visitors upon entry and exiting the premises
- Conduct delivery vehicle searches
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Complete incident and reporting log books
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly
- Escalate emergency situations to management

**Requirements**:

- Grade C accredited and registered
- Minimum of 1 year in the security industry
- No criminal record
- Must be physically fit
- Must reside within the Wyberg, Sandton area
