**East London Area - Eastern Cape**: Our client is looking for a Crop Manager/ Supervisor to join the team.

Transport from East London is provided.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric
- Horticultural/diploma
- 1-2 years in an assistant grower or supervisory role
- Agricultural supervisory exposure an advantage
- Previous experience with farming with hydroponics in greenhouses advantageous
- Computer literacy
- Time management
- Quality Systems

- The ability to speak Xhosa/Zulu (not essential)
- The ability to process and manage administration in line with specific systems and structures.
- The ability to work in a team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Develops a weekly work plan with labour budget.
- In conjunction with the Head Grower, ensures consistent and timeous implementation of crop the weekly crop work plan.
- Ensure crop workers adhere to minimum work standards by directing and scheduling the activities of crop workers providing ongoing feedback to the Head Grower
- Weekly report on labour performance vs budget
- Ensure workers at the relevant work areas are on time.
- Ensure quality of work meets the minimum standards required.
- Handles timekeeping and disciplinary matters of the team of workers.
- Communicates and advises the Head Grower on current conditions and trends in crop, pest, and disease conditions.
- Scouting recording pests and diseases in crops
- Assists with problem solving activities.
