Purpose of Position:

Proactively lead, coach and manage People Partners in the provision of an effective partnering service across the business. Ensure alignment between the business operations and the People Partner practices and strategic objectives. Provide effective support, guidance and advice to managers and employees to maximise performance and enable all employees to engage and contribute to the growth of the organisation.
Requirements:

HR Diploma or degree (required), IR diploma or certificate (required), Management diploma or degree (required)

Required Experience:
1-2 years HR generalist experience with in a medical environment, 3-4 years IR related experience, 5 years HR generalist experience, HR Management Experience, Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge: Employment Equity Act (EEA), Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Labour Relations Act (LRA), Knowledge: MS Word and MS Excel, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge of HIV legislation, Knowledge of payroll and systems
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and report on KPIs and trends related to People management practices in the business and develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the employee relations., Assist leadership and management on progressive discipline of employees as well as employment decisions., Assist management and leadership in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations., Consult with the business’s leadership in order to foster and promote the engagement of the business’s core values at all levels., Continuously drive improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight and internal best practice., Develop and execute workforce planning to ensure operational efficiencies., Ensure alignment between people management strategies and the existing business’ policies and procedures., Facilitate the effective implementation of new people management initiatives in different departments and levels of the business as appropriate., Manage the People Partners to ensure alignment and achievement of departmental goals., Report on data monthly to People leadership, highlighting trends and actions to address any potential concerns, in line with the annual priority of leveraging data to drive analytic insights.
