Shipping Co-ordinator

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for export logistics, the execution of shipping service and compliance documentation activities required for in/out-bound shipping activities

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Updating and processing importing documents
- Updating Container List
- Coordinating ETA to factory and plan deliveries
- Processing Invoices for payments
- Checking and processing import documents
- Coordinating import custom issue with clearing agent
- Coordinating deliveries between factory and transporter
- Coordinating empty container return with transporter
- Import / Export related freight and document request
- All shipping department project requirements

**Minimum job requirements**:

- 2-3 years experience in shipping
- 2-3 years in import / custom background and knowledge
- Transportation /Manufacturing industry will be added advantage
- Strong working knowledge of factory/warehouse operations and management

**Minimum level of Education**:
Degree or National diploma in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

Pay: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Century City, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Shipping: 3 years (preferred)
- Import / Export: 3 years (preferred)
- knowledge of factory/warehouse operations and management: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Are you in Cape Town century city or willing to relocate? (preferred)
- Do you have your own transport? (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
