**JOB TITLE**

Logistics Coordinator/Controller

JHB

**KEY TASKS**
- Daily management of the effectiveness of the local planning, personal effectiveness and processes accuracy to deliver on time and in full to customers.
- Perform daily loadmaster function for local logistics.
- Attend to call in / collection customers
- Receive and check in ATR’s and redeliveries from fleet.
- Assist Sales team with customer delivery queries.
- Perform stock checks on local routes to avoid stock outs and credit notes before invoicing and route sheet.
- Supervise local pickers
- Limit over time and check logistics time sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain bulk stock - 10kg (M/F)illa and 5kg white putty
- Perform daily check on back orders to ensure stock is available and they are delivered as soon as possible.
- Perform accurate warehouse counts for KZN stock replenishment.
- Manage the alignment and effectiveness of the local logistics team.
- Housekeeping - logistics, front entrance / yard / parking area and verge.
- Cross border admin functions and documentation.
- Branch loss prevention and stock control
- Analyse daily control sheet and note actions required for improvements.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS**
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role specifically with logistics, fleet management, staff management, stock control and warehousing.
- Tertiary operations management qualification
- A high school matric qualification
- A good understanding of the importance of this role and the consistent accuracy required
- Innovative problem solving mindset
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Good project management skills
- Good communications skills - verbal and written
- Leader willingness and ability to hold staff accountable
- Good ability to understand, activate and consistently execute processes
