**Vacancy: AfriCamps Marketing Coordinator**

AfriCamps Boutique Glamping offers self-catering glamping experiences to guests at 17 locations across South Africa. We pride ourselves in providing guests with a connection to nature, and an immersive outdoor experience without compromising on comfort. Our boutique glamping sites feature beautifully designed tents, top-notch amenities, and stunning surroundings, making AfriCamps the preferred choice for those seeking a harmonious blend between comfort, nature, and adventure.

AfriCamps Boutique Glamping was founded in 2014 and our head office is based in Parklands, Cape Town. We run our marketing, reservations, maintenance and factory departments from the head office.

The role will include both administrative and creative duties that will assist the team in achieving marketing goals in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Position is based at our head office in Parklands, Cape Town.

Duration: Permanent position.

Area of study: A bachelor’s degree in marketing management is required.

Previous experience: A minimum of five years’ work experience is required for this role. Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.

**Salary**: Industry-related

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Content creation**
- Develop compelling content for various marketing channels, including the website, app, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team.

**Campaign Management**
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns, competitions and promotions to drive bookings and customer loyalty.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors on brand collaborations.
- Coordinate with design, social media and PR staff to produce high quality marketing campaigns.

**Radio and Print Campaigns**:

- Coordinate the rollout of radio and print projects, ensuring effective messaging and alignment with the overall marketing strategy.

**Influencer Partnerships**:

- Coordinate and oversee AfriCamps’ influencer partnership strategy for optimal brand exposure and high-quality content creation.
- Assist with influencer and media bookings and arrangements as needed.

**Sales Funnel Implementation**:

- Manage the implementation of the online sales funnel, ensuring content reaches target consumers in the right sequence for maximum effectiveness.
- Collaborate with social media staff to maximise effectiveness of communications at various point of the sales funnel.

**Reviews Management**:

- Ensuring the guest review response process is implemented and efficient across the company.
- Responding to guest reviews as needed.

**Photo Shoots**
- Coordination of photo and video shoots from planning to roll-out of content.
- Liaise with models, vendors, camp partners and photographers to facilitate successful photo shoots.

**Website and Design Knowledge**:

- Possess a solid understanding of website management, ensuring content is up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Basic knowledge of design principles to collaborate effectively with the design team. Basic design skills are required from time to time.

**Listing Sites Management**:
**Sponsorships**
- Oversee the roll-out of sponsorship opportunities including fundraisers and events.

**Day to day tasks as needed**:

- basic website and app text updates as needed
- editorial tasks like proofreading and fact-checking
- sourcing quotes for production projects
- collecting and compiling data from marketing campaigns
- performing various research tasks
- coordinating with media partners, journalists, and suppliers as required
- general administrative tasks

**Proficiencies**
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms like WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Suite, MS Office.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and newsletter platforms like Brevo.
