As an Academic Marker, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating students' academic performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Marking and assessing online assignments, examinations, and other academic submissions according to established guidelines and rubrics at an undergraduate and FET matriculation level.

3. Providing constructive feedback to students to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
4. Maintaining accurate records of student grades and assessments.
5. Collaborating with the academic team to ensure consistent marking standards and practices.
6. Participating in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance marking skills and stay updated on curriculum requirements.
7. Work independently with others and adhere to deadlines and ensure timely completion of marking tasks.
8. Addressing student inquiries related to assessment outcomes in a rich, professional and supportive manner.

**Qualifications and Skills**: To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
2. Marking and moderation experience with a recognised accreditation body.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in assessment and marking.
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students.
7. Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for marking and record-keeping.
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
9. Possess a strong work ethic.
