**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- Organize the co-engineering and industrial development to ensure product and process design are optimized for manufacturability.
- Ensure the transferability of the industrial activities by using standard processes
- Drive industrialization resources in the tenders, development phase, pre-serial phase and serial production phase.
- Organize the management of Special Processes and critical operations regarding product safety and reliability.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**

**Key accountabilities**:

- At project execution phase:

- Ensure the implementation of the standard processes and the standard product solutions: SMP/SML, standard equipment, standard solutions
- Ensure the manufacturability (and the transferability if relevant) using validated technologies
- Ensure co-engineering methodology and rules are followed-up to optimize lead time and quality of development.
- Validate, for the industrial scope, the gate reviews of the DFQ, and that the conditions to pronounce the Serial Go are fulfilled.
- Ensure documentation and ERP data are complete, on time and with the good level of quality.
- Organize and ensure the implementation of manufacturing equipment on time, in line with EHS rules, with good ergonomic conditions, and compliant with the QCD targets of the project.
- Drive continuous improvement actions and support production.
- Lead all engineering activities to support carbody manufacturing and delivery within the required budget, time and quality
- Manage the EHS requirements in the field of industrialization, and as management committee member.
- Participate to the PME Networks.
- Contributes to build or improve standards.
- Ensure good participation of his collaborators to the relevant networks.
- At tender phase:

- Ensure that the industrial assumptions (PIO, MoB, Macro-process) are defined in line with industrial Reflib and SMP/SML of the product range.
- Validate the quotation relative to the industrial costs.
- Ensure ethical business conduct at all times
- Deploy industrialization standards: Method Time, EHS, Ergonomics, Work Instructions.
- Deploy industrialization methodologies: ICONE, P-FMEA, Control Plan, QRQC, Task Sequencing.
- Deploy IS tools for industrialization: PLM (DELMIA), ERP (GSI), MES.
- Increase maturity of the team using APSYS roadmap.

**People Management**:

- Manage staff capacity and competencies
- Control of actual and forecasted workload.
- Ensure end to end people management of the facilities team within Alstom framework
- Supervise a group of employees engaged in performing a variety of production-support or maintenance tasks
- Closely supervise the work practices and performance of employees and write performance reviews as scheduled
- Ensure that the facilities team adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices
- Manage ER and IR of the team

**Performance measurements**:

- Quality dashboard KPI (CONQ, DFQ performance, Top issues performance, etc.)
- Contribution to networks
- Implement and Maintain all required ISO and Other quality certifications
- Legal compliance
- APSYS
- EHS

**MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES**

**Educational Requirements**_**Mandatory**:

- Degree in Industrial/ Mechanical Engineering

**Desirable**:

- Lean Manufacturing certificate
- ECSA registration as Professional Engineer

**Experience
**Mandatory**:

- Industrial background with minimum 10 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry in an international organization
- Ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians in technical fields. Proven track record required.
- Manufacturing skills at technical level
