**What We're Looking For**:
As a Short Course Operations Manager, your role within the short course business operation unit will work in support of the Senior Directors of Operations (Planning & Delivery) to facilitate and manage the resource planning requirements across all functional teams to ensure an integrated and successful Planning, Marketing, Production and Presentation delivery for 2U.

Within your role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of all new course and existing course iteration planning schedules, including but not limited to: pipeline planning & management, the new course development schedule, presentation schedule updates, schedule optimisations and reporting. You will need to support with the long-term & short-term planning for the SC business across all requirements. You will also support Ops Managers with any short courses operational analytics and reporting, together with operational strategic tasks/projects as assigned to you.

The role requires exceptional time management skills and the ability to implement efficiencies and / or automation of own tasks, analytical skills, good communication abilities, and a keen understanding of short course business functions and business systems with a focus on ensuring smooth and efficient business processes and adherence to enable the functional teams.

**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**:
Business Operations: Key Drivers: SC Revenue, UP Relationship, SC Priorities and Efficiency

Resource and product planning/scheduling relating to New Course Development (NCD), existing courses & customised enterprise solutions
- Responsible for developing, managing & distributing the annual NCD and maintenance schedule
- Manage the upfront planning and all resource allocations for all new courses, based on the NCD pipeline schedule and own the new course kick-off process
- Responsible for the ongoing management of the course presentation schedule to manage delays, additions, University Partner requests, and cancellations throughout cross-functional teams. Shared with the Senior Director, Short Course Operations Planning
- Responsible for executing resourcing requirements for customised enterprise solutions, in partnership with Delivery Ops Managers

Systems Management - responsible for master product data, the implementation of reporting based on this data and overall end-to-end data integrity
- Tracking and reporting on new course development operational metrics (capacity/workloads, project statuses, recurring issues and utilisation and capitalisation targets) and the impact this data has on efficiency gains (through process improvement) and future growth
- Responsible for creating and maintaining business critical master product data in various systems - including, but not limited to Smartsheet, Phoenix & Salesforce
- Responsible for monthly evidencing & certification of course presentation start and end dates as it relates to the Revenue Receivables SOX Compliance control covering both corporate & non-corporate revenue

Ad hoc projects
- Involvement in key ad hoc business goal orientated projects. This includes assisting in implementing and planning for team structural changes, managing the associated implications for the business units and/or stakeholders. Tasks can cover Analysis, Planning and Execution

Workflow Operations: Key Drivers: Process, Efficiency, Profitability
- Work with Operational Leads_ (_and other business stakeholders where necessary) to identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes that foster better collaboration, communication, innovation and improved output. As well as ensuring existing systems and processes are kept optimal
- Develop process documentation, as required
- Lead/assist the roll-out and training of new processes, process updates and systems changes across the business
- Integrate and collaborate with the Traffic function, on both short & long-term planning to troubleshoot as required, and to ensure that we are utilising resources accurately across requirements

Assist with cross team alignment and change management through communication of key information
- Responsible for communication of key information throughout the business for any updates relating to the Course Production and Presentation Schedule
- Responsible for creating communication around process changes and ensuring that business stakeholders are aware of the correct processes in critical presentation or course related situations
- Assist in the creation of alignment strategies for intradepartmental communication and process information flow

People Operations: Key Drivers: SC Revenue, Efficiency

- Work closely with Project Management, Iterations, Learning Technology, Creative Studios, Learning Design Ops and Operational BPs to ensure effective workflows across multiple teams impacted by and reliant on the Planning and Operations functions
