Storeman

Our company is looking for a Storeman - preferable Male

**Job Function**
- To comply with all work instructions pertaining to the engineering stores
- To ensure all documents are maintained as per the ISO requirements.
- To ensure stock counts of all inventory is done on a weekly basis.
- To ensure every item that is issued is done with a signed/authorised requisition
- Liase with relevant suppliers/buying dept to acquire required spares and inventory.

Ensure new spares acquired - Stock codes are opened

**Ensure minimum stock levels maintained**
- Ensure specialized tools are recorded & Controlled.
- **New Machines - **Collect all specification manuals.
- Generate special reports - costings etc. as and when required
- **Maintenance Activities and Housekeeping**: undertakes specific housekeeping and maintenance activities, by Cleaning / sweeping floors. In order to ensure specific instructions and guidelines are adhered to housekeeping rules are observed contributing to a safe and quality work environment.

**ISO Checklist - as per Schedule**.
- Must ensure it is completed properly and that it is used as a document of corrective action for any non conformance identified.
- Checklist must be filed and available for the audit inspection as carried by the ISO audit team.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out with the “Safety First Attitude” i.e. use correct tools / workgear

(goggles, gloves, hard shoes, hard hats, signage) - when in doubt use correct professional specialists outside company services after consulting the Maintenance Manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R6,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

- Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
