Expeditor - Buying

**Qualifications Required**
- Degree or Diploma Procurement or Supply Chain

**Job Function**
- To track and monitor orders placed with suppliers and ensure on time delivery while maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders

**Key Performance Areas**
- Ensure all orders are fully received within the required time-lines
- Build strong relationships with the relevant contacts at the various suppliers in order to support the needs of the business and our clients
- Build strong relationships with operational counterparts within the client organisations for strong alignment on project requirements
- Measure on time deliveries from suppliers to allow performance reporting to the relevant stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to manage the performance of suppliers to best support project requirements
- Align supplier processes to match internal and external needs including minimising of partial deliveries
- Support data accuracy maintenance to allow for on time supplier payments within the agreed credit terms
- Liase with the warehouse team to book delivery slots for suppliers taking into consideration the various factors which affect the time required to receive specific supplies
- Support the logistics team to plan dispatches based on the agreed deliveries with suppliers
- Ensure that required compliance documentation is received together with the physical cargo deliveries to allow for the quickest possible turn-around of stock
- Support the rest of the buying team to ensure the seamless flow of orders through the supply chain
- Work closely with suppliers to anticipate any stock shortages or other factors which might result in a negative impact on the business and the client
- Distribute supplier feedback to all relevant stakeholders
- Optimisation of orders and expediting process to achieve 100% on-time deliveries for all suppliers

- Cargowise 1 preferable
- Advanced Microsoft office knowledge
- Be self-motivated and work in a team
- At least 2 years similar expediting or industry related experience
