- Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience**Minimum Requirements: Associate Professor**
- Doctoral qualification in Marketing or specialised field within Marketing (e.g. Brand Management).
- Underpinning Masters and Bachelors qualification in Marketing or a specialized field within Marketing (e.g. Brand Management)
- At least six (6) years’ relevant teaching experience in Higher Education
- Already at Senior Lecturer level with at least three (3) years’ proven academic managerial experience.
- Evidence of a minimum of 0.75 DHET accredited research unit outputs, on average, over the preceding 5 years
- Evidence of successful supervision of 5 Masters’ students as primary supervisor

**Recommended: Associate Professor**
NRF Rating- High standing nationally in Marketing
- Previous experience in a similar position or at an equivalent or higher level

Recipient of research grants and awards- Experience as an external examiner/moderator
- Experience in curriculum development
- Knowledge of the HEQSF processes
- Proven evidence of leadership qualities
- Experience in financial management and budgeting
- Experience in evaluating Teaching Practice

**Minimum Requirements: Senior Lecturer**
- Doctoral qualification in Marketing or specialised field within Marketing (e.g. Brand Management)

**Minimum Requirements: Head of Department**
- Doctoral qualification: Doctor of Commerce / Doctor of Business Administration or equivalent doctoral qualification.
- Underpinning Masters qualification in one or more of the sub-fields of Public Administration and Governance
- At least 5 years’ teaching experience in a higher education, with at least three (3) years at the Senior Lecturer level involving managerial responsibility.
- Track record in academic leadership, research output and postgraduate supervision.

**Head of Department**
1. Academic leader of the department.
