'trumph' Programmer

**Introduction**

Our Client, based in Kempton Park, is looking for an experienced 'Trumph' programmer to join their team.

The purpose of the role is to programme the Trumph machine according to the specifications on the job cards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

To nest and program machines to punch parts according to sizes required as per job card and drawing specification.

To accurately and timeously do nesting and allocate program number according to parts required.

To accurately determine sheet sizes to punch.

To program for optimal utilization of sheet usage and highest achievable efficiency rate and minimize scrap, sheet wastage and lost time.

Ensure accuracy as to the amount of sheets required for a specific part.

Ensure correct nesting with program numbers is attached to the job card.

Ensure material specification coincide with the description on the job card and nesting.

Ensure that the tool selection on the program coincides with the tooling on the machine.

Compile Bill of Materials for each job in terms of consumables required from stores.

Request consumables to be purchased based on usage

Assist with Stock allocations and stock take.

Assist with weekly stock take capturing.

Accuracy and delivery of Nesting and Programs within a specified time frame.

Reduce costs by avoiding re-works.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

Matric Certificate

NCCAD32 Software will be beneficial

Extensive knowledge and experience on ICT Programming and sequencing of tool selection

Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment within a steel manufacturing company

Minimum 3 years experience in ICT Programming Role

Experience on Solidworks and Sigmanest is essential

Microsoft Excel

Ability to redesign product when necessary

Ability to rectify settings on Machines

Technical ability to solve problems relating to product

Ability to correctly understand and interpret structural and architectural drawings

Must be able to work under pressure
