Concessions Facilitator

We are currently seeking dedicated Concessions Facilitators in Cape Town

**Details**:
**Location**: Schools in and around Cape Town, Western Cape

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to learners who have been granted concessions during exams/assessments due to specific barriers to learning
- Ensure that learners are able to access and complete their assessments in a fair and equitable manner
- You may be assigned various roles such as a reader, scribe, prompter or personal assistant, depending on the individual needs of the learner. As a reader, you will read all the text in an examination paper to the student. As a scribe, you will assist the learner in writing their answers. As a prompter, you may provide reminder cues to help the learner stay on track and as a personal assistant, you may provide general support and assistance throughout the assessment process.
- Provide support while adhering to the policies and procedures of the educational institution

**Requirements**:

- WCED Certificate
- Patience, empathy and understanding towards the learner
- Flexible availability (mornings and afternoons) from 1st March 2024 - 29th March 2024
- Hours: +- 2 hours per week depending on students exam schedule
- Own transport is essential
- Previous experience working with learners is advantageous
- Proficiency in Afrikaans or isiZulu is advantageous
