Enrolled Nurse

**Key Performance Area**:

- Practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- To update and maintain quality records within the statutory required retention period through proper identification, filing, storage maintenance and disposition of these records.
- Ensure a safe and efficient induction of anaesthesia and monitors patient during op regardless of types of anaesthesia.
- To ensure and maintains accurate billings of drugs and consumable items used by individual patient.
- Ensures the cleanliness and tidiness of the theatre, anaesthetic rooms, and other areas.
- Compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Provide safety, quality patient care in the ward. - Attend to patient’s complaints.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric is essential.
- Registered qualification as an enrolled nurse is essential.
- Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Atleast two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse working in a theatre environment is essential.
- Must be prepared to work long hours and flexibility is required.
- Computer literate.
