**What will you be doing?**

This dual role vacancy resides in the Analytic Consultant team, responsible for project data set

up, data troubleshooting, analysis design, project management and execution, and supporting the Senior Analytics Consultant in delivering excellent Advanced Analytics projects to our clients. You will be involved in delivering a portfolio of different services that address sales drivers across the marketing mix and specific services geared to improve retail execution. This role is created to assist in growing our Advanced Analytics offering in South Africa, and you will work very closely with (ACE) Analytics Centre of Excellence. This role’s long-term objective is to grow and develop a strong analyst into an Analytics Consultant working

directly with clients to delivery growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provision of technical support to the sales process and to client project delivery meetings.
- Preparing data to be sent to ACE for statistical modelling.
- Liaising with ACE and the SAC regarding any questions about the client’s category or the data set.
- Assisting the SAC with completing Project Scope documents.
- Learning the ins and outs of ACE projects and drive efficiencies in the process where possible.
- Assist the SAC with developing insightful presentations.
- Keeping up to date on the Client’s key business strategies and challenges.
- Keeping abreast of changes within the broader environment (the economy, retail landscape, client competitors), that impact on the Client’s business.
- Assist the IRI Senior Analytics Consultant in the education and adoption of the new solutions.
- Gain a solid understanding of the statistical methods used in our Analytics solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Circa 2 years + experience in market research epos data cleaning and analysis
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Marketing/Econometrics or equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Expert in using Temple software and/or other Alteryx to mine data
- Strong Scan analytics background essential
