**Managed People Solutions** is looking to hire a **Human Resource Officer** for a very well-known **Wine Company** based in **Cape town.**

**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the HR Officer is to ensure that the HR activities within the company are taking place effectively and efficiently and this includes HR general activities, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and wellness, termination of employees, IR activities, employee records and data, leave management and training.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist Line Managers with certain employee relations issues, investigations, and Corrective Action review.
- Prepare general letters including but not limited to Confirmation of Employment, Embassy letters, Confirmation of Remuneration as requested by employees.
- Maintain the data on the ESS system with new employees, terminations, and changes of employment. Assist employees with Password reset.
- Ensure that all documentation for employees going on Maternity Leave has been sent to employee. Maternity documentation includes: Maternity Letter, Acknowledgement of Debt, Requirements for UIF, UI2.7, UI19
- Ensure compliance with Changes in Employment process including preparing Amendment to contract letters and ensuring signed letters are received back and filed.
- Ensure that the 100 days of onboarding employee journey is deployed effectively with each new hire and that all required documents are completed including administration.
- Ensure that the activities and plans set out by the BUM for Engagement, Culture and Employee wellness are effectively executed within MPS.
- Responsible for providing required reports as directed by the BUM
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of all services within the HR realm to the MPS.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Manage adherence to Human Resources policies and procedures. Ensuring that Human Resources processes and practices are standardized.
- Implement good Human Resources Governance.
- Ensure that all departments have RTR’s completed for relevant positions and that they are aware of how the process is tracking.
- Ascertain any additional training requirement from each group in the company on a bi-annual basis and report this back to the BUM.
- Ensure attendance of a monthly MPS meeting for each division within MPS to ascertain further needs and report back on previous action plans.
- Ensure that all training required within the MG is deployed and that logístical arrangements take place effectively and efficiently.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as requested.
- Oversee the maintenance of all employee records, including employee files in both paper and digital form; ensures audit proof maintenance of records.
- Oversee that Employment Contracts are accurate and done timeously
- Performance Management: Assisting line managers to ensure performance contracts are done at appropriate intervals and that KPI’s for each position are clearly defined
- Responsible for documenting various HR processes and creating and updating HR forms and templates in Word, Excel and other tools to drive efficiency.
- Create vendor account as per finance. Prepare PO for supplier invoices as required. Follow up with PO number to suppliers and advise finance on new PO.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Tertiary Education: University degree B Com Human Resources or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Full employee life-cycle experience (Beneficial)

- Diploma (preferred)
