- (Market related)- Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified and experienced
** Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager **to join their team. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you would be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing safety policies and procedures, and developing and delivering training programs to employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits, and provide recommendations to improve the safety culture and minimize risk.
- Analyse safety metrics and reports to identify trends, determine root causes of incidents, and develop corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
- Deliver training and coaching to all levels of the organization to promote awareness, knowledge, and understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into all business processes.
- Develop and manage emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, emergency communication protocols, and crisis management protocols.
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of incidents and compliance issues.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in OHSAS management in the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge with safety, security and health and safety procedures.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, including management, hourly employees, and external stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in OHSAS are essential.
