**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To assist, direct and coordinate material activities in Dynamic Control’s operations department. The material controller is repsonsible for the safe and efficient operation of material movements, work in progress (WIP) and material storage within the site storage space and ensure the labelling and recoding of completed material built.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12

**EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
¨ Minimum 3 year working experience preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.

¨ Technical knowledge and understanding of technical drawings

¨ Excellent communication skills

¨ Excellent knowledge of and conversant with Word, Excel, Powerpoint (MS Office).

¨ Excellent knowledge of and conversant with ERP (Enterprise resource planning) systems

¨ Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards of the manufacturing / production activities

¨ Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

**SUMMARY OF MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
¨ Maintain daily workshop schedule and allocation of resources

¨ Send updates on job progress to all teams/departments concerned

¨ Follow up on Back orders and kit shortages with Supply Chain and Stores.

¨ Responsible for the cleanliness of the WIP/ PMO area

¨ Responsible for job allocation and job flow in and out of the workshop

¨ Ensure the history files are correctly filled in and closed off.

¨ Assist with getting systems ready for shipment.

¨ Assist in other areas within PMO department when required.

¨ Ensure quality measures have been executed.

¨ Load and ensure that manufactured parts routings are in place and maintained.

¨ Load and release of works orders in accordance with projects deliveries and priorities.

¨ Obtain necessary documentation to manufacture products.

¨ Compile history files and load on database after completion of job

¨ Print Job cards

¨ Load and monitoring of work orders and allocated time

¨ Ensure closure of work orders after completion of work

¨ Assist engineering with issuing of prototyping or design change spares on ERP system

¨ Raising of PR’s according to contract requirements

¨ Following up on spares due dates and back orders

¨ Spares arrive on time for project execution

¨ Load and advise on labour requirements and usage

¨ Assist with projects closure on Syspro

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R20 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
