Senior Stock Controller

Responsibilities of an Internal Stock Controller include:

- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
- Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to the relevant parties
- Placing and receiving of orders to replenish stocks as needed
- Track shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers as well as addressing any delays
- Organise and overseeing storage of stocks such as boxing, labelling and shelf allocation
- Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff as well as the sales and finance department
- Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records
- Maintaining and updating daily shipment inventory records
- Reporting to Management timeously on any deviation of protocols
- Placing and following up on internal sales orders between the branch and head office
- Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Active participation in inventory audits
- Excellent organization skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Qualification in Supply Chain Management or similar field
