**POSITION**: **TRAINEE MANAGER DESIGNATE (LOGISTICS & TRANSPORT)**

**LOCATION: ETHEKWINI, DURBAN**
- **Residing in Verulam, Tongaat and Phoenix (advantageous)**_

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Matric
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain or Logistics **(ESSENTIAL) - GRADUATED**:

- Alternate Tertiary Qualification relevant to the Fruit & Vegetable Industry
- Relevant experience within the Fruit & Vegetable industry (advantageous) i.e., Buying, Quality Management or Warehousing
- Minimum working experience acceptable (contactable reference required)
- Willing to work in a freezer / packhouse environment (cold chain)
- Must have a valid driver’s licence (no endorsements) **(ESSENTIAL)**:

- Own reliable vehicle **(ESSENTIAL)**:

- Must be available immediately **(ADVANTAGEOUS)**:

- Must possess strong numeracy, literacy and organisational skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills (written & verbal) on all levels
- Proficient on MS Office packages & possess a high level of computer literacy
- Must be willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
- Incumbent must be determined, hardworking, flexible and enthusiastic to build a career in Retail
- Must reside in close proximity to warehouse **(Verulam, Tongaat and Phoenix)**:

- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be physically fit to lift and carry crates weighing 50kg’s
- Must have clear criminal history
- In accordance with the POPI Act 4 of 2013_:
**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

License/Certification:

- SA Driver's license (preferred)
