Network Technician

**Responsibilities**:
Design and maintain the company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless connectivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, IP address assignments, and equipment inventory.

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing network-related issues, and assisting with network connectivity setup.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for network improvement, scalability, and performance optimization.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance network functionality.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Technician or a similar role with a focus on IT, design, and app development.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and network security principles.

Proficiency in configuring and managing network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Experience with network monitoring tools to identify and resolve network performance issues.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with database management systems and SQL queries.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
