Lodge/resort Manager/s

Valley of the Rainbow Fly Fishing Estate and Wilderness Retreat is currently seeking a dynamic Lodge/Resort Manager/Management Couple.

The estate is located in the mountains to the west of Dullstroom, Mpumalanga, South Africa and consists of 17 bedrooms in valleys surrounded by mountains.

**Requirements**:

- An experienced couple/manager with a successful track record of independently running a hospitality business for a **minimum of 2 years.**:

- Well balanced **combination of skills** to successfully manage all departments including Front of house, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Activities

**Specific Duties**
- Manage and oversee all departments, including food and beverage (food baskets), housekeeping, activities, maintenance, and administration.
- Manage all consumable stocks (food & beverage, cleaning products, maintenance products and fuels)
- Ensure all lodge personnel are scheduled according to the local labour laws, company requirements and occupancies.
- Actively promote the business to increase occupancy using social media and other marketing principles.
- Meticulously ensure the lodge housekeeping standards are upheld.
- Follow the company’s maintenance procedures.
- Comply with the owner’s policies related to logistics with regards to purchases and deliveries
- Actively develop, promote, and present the nature-based activities.
- Ensure all the administrative duties are covered, including cash-ups, stock takes and inventory and personnel planning.
- Prepare and submit the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
