**Job Description
- Some of the key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Conduct safety meetings and Risk Assessments
- Reporting on safety and deviations and record results of all legal examinations
- Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment
- Manage breakdowns and emergencies as well as Planned Maintenance
- Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required and job cards are fully completed
- Supervision of external service providers and internal Engineering Assistants
- On the job training and coaching for our trainee artisans

**This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level and reports into the Electrical Foreman.**

**Qualifications
- In order to be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N2
- Electrician Trade Certificate
- Medium Voltage Certificate / Training would be an advantage
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives and Simocodes will be an advantage

**Some additional requirements will include**:

- English literacy - speak, read and write
- You will be available to work shifts and overtime if necessary as well as be on standby
- Valid code 08 drivers licence, your own vehicle would be an advantage
- Basic computer literacy

If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test.
