Soldering Technician Lab Assistant

This lab assistant position primary function is to assist Shrike’s Engineering Product Development Team.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and solder all levels of electronic components onto printed circuit boards. Preform all levels of SMT and thru hole hand component soldering to IPC standards.
- Build test cables and assist with qualification of products.
- Assist with development product assemblies and prototype integrations (mechanical).
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy lab and for tight control over the lab stock, tools, and equipment.
- Capturing and keeping build histories Bills of Material.
- Assist with writing basic code (C#) to communicate with development equipment and designing simple enclosures for test equipment plus capturing hand drawn sketches into Altium.
- **Qualifications**_
- Engineering degree or diploma
- 3 years relative experience, soldering circuit boards experience essential.
- Computer skills - Excel, (Basic code (C#), Inflow, Altium an advantage)
- Meticulous with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent hand coordination skills.
- Driving licence

**Salary**: R12 000,00 per month
