**JOB PURPOSE**:
***
- To plan and execute the review of the IT control environments of a variety of clients, for the purpose of supporting the external audit process.
- To report on the findings from the IT Controls review for a variety of clients. The purpose of the reports being to support the external audit process, specifically with the identification of risks.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES**:
***
- Performance of IT audits including:

- General control reviews
- Application control reviews
- Preparing planning memos, audit programmes, management / client and other reports (in Business English).
- Adherence to assignment budgets.
- Documentation of evidence following the Firm’s audit methodology and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant qualification for the review of IT Controls. Examples include BCommerce, BCompt, CISA, CISM, COBIT, ITIL, BSC with IT focus.
- Experience in the following areas:

- IT general controls review
- Proficient in the following:

- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word

**ADVANTEGOUS EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE**

A good understanding of:
- IS Audit and Assurance Standards.
- Accounting Information systems.
- Own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
- Good verbal communication and reporting skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
