**Job Description**:
Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Customer Contact Supervisor, the successful applicant will provide a support service for customers in the area. This role is integral as it is the first point of contact for the customer. This role is to assist CHEP in building and maintain solid relationships with the customer base.

Key Accountabilities:

- General administration and client account reconciliations (query resolution process), inclusive of
- Debit Authorisations, THAAs
- Reconciling of accounts
- Reconcile Unprocessed THAN list and submit to CCS at month end
- Credit balance investigations.
- Accurate filing of client documentation
- Managing of suspended and rejected movements
- Logging of necessary activities and Service Requests in Siebel
- Logging Collection / Return orders when needed.
- Log necessary escalations to the business via Siebel
- Submitting of weekly updates to Supervisor for CHEP management
- Ensuring all queries are addressed and resolved in accordance with the Business Rules.
- Entertain a good customer relationship and escalate all relevant issues to CHEP management.
- Checking of inbound documents validity - equipment, quantities etc.
- Outbound processes - managing the transactions between the stores
- Facilitating 1-4-1 exchanges (If applicable)
- identify 1-4-1 exchange clients to be converted Transfer clients where possible. (If applicable)
- Yard duties include pallet sorting, inspection of pallet quality, and reporting any problems.
- Stock counts and reconciling of the counts, including the offsite locations
- Escalate all noncompliance issues to CHEP
- Liaise with problem customers to recover outstanding balances.
- Any other reasonable tasks as delegated by CHEP Management

Key Requirements
- Matric & Diploma Essential.- Preferably achieved or studying towards a further tertiary qualification.- Qualification in Supervisory Development Programme or equivalent is advantageous- Manual Drivers Licence- 3-5 years Accounts & Reconciliation- 2-3 years CHEP customer support

Skills and Knowledge- Analytical Skills- Excellent communication skills at all levels- Knowledge of Siebel, Portfolio and EDI would be an advantage; proficiency in Word & Excel is preferable.- Team Players who are systematic, accurate, patient, non-aggressive and service orientated will be the best suited to handle this position
