Garden Nursery Assistant

**Greenhouse Nursery Worker / General Worker**
- *This will be a minimum of 5 days per week position - (Maximum of 45 ordinary work hours)_

Are you an energetic and hard-working individual with a passion for plants? We are looking for someone like you to join our team as a Greenhouse Nursery Worker / General Worker In this role, you will be responsible for planting, watering, packaging, and maintaining our greenhouse plants and assisting with general labour tasks as needed.

While previous experience in a greenhouse or nursery setting is a plus, we are willing to train the right person. If you are self-motivated, punctual, and have a positive attitude towards learning, you'll fit right in with our team.

The position will include but is not limited to the following:

- Working closely with live plants
- Watering and maintaining the well-being of plants
- General maintenance in and around the nursery
- Package and prepare equipment for plant deliveries
- You reside in or near the Benoni Orchards area
- You are fluent in English, Afrikaans and Zulu
- You have a Code 8/10 Drivers Licence
- You have computer skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with gardens and plants

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From R25.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Benoni, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- garden nursery: 1 year (preferred)
