Workshop Technician

**Job Context**:
**SERVEST TECHNICAL HAS A VACANCY FOR A WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN, BASED IN WYNBERG, REPORTING TO THE WORKSHOP MANAGER. MUST HAVE MATRIC WITH A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR'S EXPERIENCE IN A TECHNICAL WORKSHOP. MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.**

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric and Electronics course (preferably NTC certificate or National technical diploma)

Clear criminal record;
SA citizen;
Must have valid drivers license;
Must be computer literate and be able to use Excel, Word and Outlook;
Experience in the parking pay on foot parking will be beneficial;
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a technical workshop;
Will be required to be calm under pressure/ must be hard working and respect and ahead to deadline imposed either internally or externally;
ØMinimum of 1-year experience in electronics environment;
ØMust have experience in working with other people in a Group;
ØMust be able to approach problems in a rational and logical manner;
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Repair/quote faulty electronic goods accurately and timeously;
Inform the customer department of any additional costs or requirements needed in order to fully repair the unit;
Meet all vendor KPI’s & SLA’s requirements on a daily basis;
Ensure effective customer department communication;
Execute standards of excellence in all work completed;
Escalate problematic issues to Workshop Manager;
