**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must be available** IMMEDIATELY**:

- Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council as a Post-basic Pharmacist Assistant
- Prior experience in a private hospital is essential
- Willingness to work overtime
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Competent in dispensing of patient prescriptions within scope of practice
- Basic understanding of medical aid regulations
- Knowledge of medicine stock management
- Ensures high quality work by focusing on accuracy and attention to detail

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for dispensing of medication and counselling of patients as per scope of practice
- Processing of patients' prescriptions and credits
- Orders, receives, issues and manages stock as per stock management principles, within scope of practice
- Responsible for pharmacy-related administration and reports as per scope of practice
