We are a 3PL service provider with a national network specializing in complete warehousing and distribution services. We are looking for an effective Admin Generalist to assist with customer service queries and general admin task at our Wadeville, Germiston Warehouse.

The key objectives of this position is to assist with resolving client and internal queries, tracking and loading of Proof of deliveries and loading of client’s order request, and other admin duties.

The key outcome areas of this position is to ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all processes are running smoothly and promptly.

At times you will be needed throughout the warehouse in different areas, therefore you’ll need to have excellent multi-task skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acknowledging customer queries within 24 hours.
- Expediting customer queries to the relevant department for conclusion within 48 hours.
- Escalate unresolved queries to line managers where issues are unresolved.
- Assist drivers when they have delivery queries.
- Manage the internal escalation of queries for internal stake holders
- Coordinate office activities and operations to together with general office admin.
- Placing of orders for stationery and cleaning requirements.
- Facilitate hand over and management of despatch parcels from site.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e mail, letters, packages etc.) where needed.
- Answer phone and direct calls.
- First line resolution for phone queries.
- Take and relay messages as required
- Responsible for compiling, sorting, filing and organizing data as required.
- Updating the warehouse billing report accurately daily.
- Maintain, scan and update outstanding pods for all relevant areas on a daily basis.
- Weekly reporting on aging of POD’s by client by site.
- Compiling reports

**Requirements**:

- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience with working on Microsoft Office
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working in an admin role
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working in a customer service function
- Must be prepared to work overtime and long hours when needed.
- Experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution preferred
- IT proficiency with experience in Warehouse Management Systems essential.
- Own transport and lives close to Germiston Wadeville
