Assistant Buyer

The Fashion Fusion Group, a dynamic and rapidly expanding fashion retail company an ambitious Assistant Buyer to provide support to the buying team. This challenging yet rewarding position offers an opportunity to assist the buying team in various aspects such as data analysis, inventory management and product selection.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Market Research:

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct regular research on consumer preferences and demand.
- Vendor Communication:

- Maintain relationships with existing vendors and seek new suppliers.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Resolve issues and discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend adjustments to the product assortment.
- Generate purchase orders and manage order fulfillment processes.
- Track and monitor deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Utilize data and analytics tools to evaluate product performance and make informed decisions.
- Provide insights on sales trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or a related field.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or procurement.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
