A well-established organization in Randfontein, Hendrik van Wyk Vervoer is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join their team. Salary will be discussed in the interview.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Have knowledge of the transport industry
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working on Trucks namely Mercedes or a similar role (Scania, Man, Volvo, Freightliner)
- Have a proven track report of doing maintenance, troubleshooting problems, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation.
- Servicing, Hydraulics, Braking systems etc.
- Must have a vehicle & valid drivers’ license.
- Be willing to work overtime as per operational requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Comfort working with multiple groups within business.
- Be willing to work long hours & weekends when required.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability.
- Manage the daily functions of the workshop.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed.
- Management of the assets under your control and the meeting of objectives set by management.
- Ensuring that all vehicles are serviced within the allowed service intervals.
- Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the workshop
