We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Artisan / Fitter to join our team.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, perform regular maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and assemble machines and mechanical components as per requirements.
- Inspect machinery, such as extruders and transmissions, running diagnostic tests to identify issues.
- Conduct timely repairs with a focus on reliability and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported mechanical problems promptly.
- Adhere to safety regulations, SOPs, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety inspections.
- Execute planned maintenance and report component failures.
- Maintain a list of critical spares and manage timely reordering.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Qualified Mechanical Artisan (Trade Test Certificate).
- Experience in the FMCG sector, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and production machinery.
- Familiarity with PLC Systems and preventative maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of the OSH Act and relevant safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Experience with Form Fill and Seal packing machines and snack food extrusion processes is advantageous.
