Front End Controller

Our new liquor store in Umhlali, Ballito is in need of a front-end controller who has training in managing all activities pertaining to the front-end (till) area of a retail liquor store.

The below responsibilities would apply
- Be responsible for the control of customers and staff at the till area and exit door;
- Ensure that there is no under-ringing of goods, stock loss or any other fraudulent activity in the area under his supervision;
- Make certain that the till area and front of the shop (both interior and exterior) are kept neat and clean;
- Relieve or assist in the dispatch, receiving, internal transfer, and marking of goods, stock counting and control, or cashing up and banking, if so requested by management;
- Assist in any other reasonable tasks and general administration, as may be required from time to time;
- Be polite and courteous to all customers, in so doing promoting a high level of good public relations;
- Overall reduction of shrinkage in the store is a fundamental aspect of performance when reviewed.
- Evaluate activities of the floor employees and providing assistance in resolving the customer queries in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Matric (grade 12)
- Experience within the role of a front-end controller

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umhlali, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
